About Melissa

  • Hello! I’m Melissa Temple and have been a member of the AspenOUT board since 2014, and became the president in early 2016.  Born and raised in Sydney Australia, but now consider Aspen to be my home.  I’m a luxury real estate broker in the valley, however my real passion is equality, acceptance, and tolerance.  Because of this, I would like to introduce to you one of our beneficiary’s, the Trevor Project. The Trevor Project is a nonprofit organization founded in 1998, focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.

Natalyn Cumings

Secretary, AspenOUT

About Natalyn

  • Hey there. I’m Natalyn Cumings and have been an AspenOUT board member since early 2016. Being on this nonprofit board is a great honor and a great responsibility, and being a native of Colorado, I take the responsibility to heart.  I’m happy to say, AspenOUT is able to give back to the community, near and far.  With that being said, I would like to introduce to you one of our 2017 beneficiaries, The Lesbian Health Fund. LHF remains committed to improving the health of lesbians and other sexual minority women over the lifespan, from early childhood, through adolescence, and adulthood, including aging. There is still great need to understand how social determinants, especially race and ethnicity, influence the health and wellbeing of lesbians, other sexual minority women and their families.

Kevin McManamon

Executive Director, AspenOUT

About Kevin

  • Hi, my name is Kevin McManamon, I am the Executive Director of AspenOUT. AspenOUT is the nonprofit that produces Aspen Gay Ski Week, as our annual fundraiser. I first became involved with the organization as a volunteer. Later, I joined the board and then became President of the board. About two years ago I became Executive Director. As Executive Director, it was my initiative that created our alliance with Aspen Film, and created the AspenOUT College Scholarship Fund. To date we have awarded more than $23,000 to graduating high school seniors from Aspen to Glenwood Springs. We continue with our local outreach programs, such as our monthly social soaks in Glenwood Springs. Please help AspenOUT by supporting Aspen Gay Ski Week events and activities, as well as finding out more about our new summer fundraiser, AdventureOUT Snowmass! I can’t wait to meet all of you in person!
